Is PsychLog really free for individual residents?
Yes. Every logging feature, export, and analytics tool is completely free for individual residents. There's no trial period, no feature limits, and no credit card required. We believe every resident should have access to quality training tools.
What does the Program plan add?
The Program plan adds a Program Director Dashboard that shows aggregate statistics across all residents in your program — encounter trends, rotation coverage, PGY comparisons, and inactivity alerts. Individual encounter details and notes remain private to each resident.
Does PsychLog store PHI (Protected Health Information)?
No. PsychLog is explicitly designed to avoid PHI. You log patient age (not date of birth), de-identified demographics, and clinical categories. No patient names, MRN, or HIPAA identifiers are ever collected. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can program directors see individual resident notes?
No. The Program Director Dashboard only shows aggregate, anonymized data — total encounter counts, rotation distributions, and population breakdowns. Individual encounter details and clinical notes are never visible to administrators.
Does PsychLog work offline?
Yes. After your first visit, PsychLog caches the app for offline use. You can log encounters without WiFi, and they sync automatically when you reconnect. It also installs on your phone's home screen like a native app.
